Frame I - The Storm before the Calm
Description: Pre-Production [3 months]
Pre-Production is absolutely an essential step in the process
of making an animated feature or visual effects based film.
The process which begins by an idea/concept involves refining
the story/plot into a screen presentable format as a screenplay.
This follows designing and illustrating characters and environments
leading all the way up to a storyboard or a pictorial representation
of your film as a sequence of sketches. In this frame, you get
to learn a lot of things from basic illustration to human anatomy,
from clay sculpting to understanding the nuances of Photography.
In a nutshell, you set the ground for your production to begin.

Description: Animatics Workshop & Presentation [1 week]
The purpose of this workshop is to leverage the illustration,
framing and story/screenplay development skills learnt in the
Pre-Production Module to create a fully functional animatic
or putting your sketches on a timeline and creating a short
movie and then present it in front of the class.

III - Who's that Pixel?
Description: Introduction to CG and Digital Imagery using Adobe
Photoshop [1 month]
You are introduced to Computer Graphics and Digital Imagery
using Adobe Photoshop, the world standard in Digital Image Creation
and Editing. Here you begin playing with images and graduate
up to creating your very own Digital Artwork.

IV - Move that Pixel!
Description: Motion Graphics & Basic Compositing using Adobe
After Effects [1 month]
This module introduces the students to Motion Graphics techniques
using After Effects. As a result, students get to understand
frame size, composition, frame rates, motion, key framing and
basic timing as well as a good deal about colour sense. This
builds up a solid ground for the 3D modules to follow.
PRESENTATION
- A Complete Motion Graphics Presentation has to be made by
the student with sound incorporated.

Description: Basic Editing Skills using Adobe Premiere [2 weeks]
This module aims at covering basic editing skills for students
to use in creating their demo reels in the end. The purpose
here is not to dive too much into detail when it comes to Editing
as that is covered in the specialization modules.

VI - An Affair with 3D
Description: 3D Animation & Visual Effects using Autodesk Maya
[6 months]
This module introduces the students to 3D Animation & Visual
Effects techniques using Autodesk Maya where they stand to taste
the sheer power of this application and understand the various
nuances that go into creating an animated masterpiece. This
module sets the ground for specialization tracks to follow.

VII - A Star is born
Description: Skills Specialization [9 months]
By now you would've fully understood all the nuances that go
into making an animated film and have also acquired skills necessary
to be a 3D Animation & Visual Effects generalist. The industry
today demands specialization skills and in the next module you
get a chance to opt for one of the three specialization tracks
available:
